Well, we lost. Officially. This is what happens when Roddick gets injured. Goddamned Roddick. And his Hip. I hate Roddick's hip...
No really though, in all seriousness (I don't actually hate Roddick, injuries happen...), I'm sad that the US lost. It was such a close match. I mean, TWO five setters in one day? The chances of that are just so low...
I can't help but feel that Blake is at the end of his career after all the things that happened this year. As a huge fan of Blake (he used to be my favorite player), I feel sad that this is happening, but alas, that is the way of professional sports. I just hope he can have one good showing before he leaves...
Also, I do have to put in a plug to the Croatian team, which is playing VERY well. Karlovic continues to dominate, and Cilic is truly showing off his speed and game. I think they might beat the Czechs. That'll be fun to (not) watch.
