Ola, Ciao, Guntentag, Shalom and Hello to eveyone interested in the ongoings of the tennis world. From dodgy hawk eye challenges and dirty looks to impressive shots and bitter disappointments. All the results and news will be available here, as well as some insight into the grand slams, and we got an interesting US Open to look forward to next week!!
At the moment it looks like the favourite on the women's side is Caroline Wozniacki who will enter the last slam of the year as the number 1 seed, after Serena Williams pulled out with a foot injury. She's gonna have some steep comptetition though from the likes of Kim Clijsters and Venus Williams to name a few. It would be nice to see someone new win for a change though.
On the men's side of things, Rafa Nadal will be the number 1 seed heading into the US Open, let's see if he can make it past the semi-final this year. Roger Federer is also in some 'ok' form, but for me, my prediction is Andy Murray, he might be boring to watch but he's gotta win one sometime...
