Okay so the last Masters Series Tournament on Clay ended for another year with
TOMMY ROBREDO
winning his first ATP Masters Title after a rather one-sided final in Hamburg against Czech Radek Stephanek, 6-1 6-3 6-3! He becomes the 50th player to win a Masters Title. Congratulations to Tommy! I have not yet read Tommy's Blog (which has been bringing him good luck) but apparently he took off his shirt when he won. Some soccer-inspired thing. Anyway, go read it.
So I was thinking of recapping the clay court Masters etc with some cool stuff I found on the internet.
- In Monte Carlo, World Number 1 2 Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal played an exhibition match. Roger was driving around in a cool vintage car. The video can be seen

- In Rome, Roger, Rafael, Gaston Gaudio (ARG) and Ivan Ljubicic (CRO) played together on the soccer pitch where the Italian league final (lets establish here that I have no idea about Italian soccer) and received soccer shirts. The video can be seen here.
- Dmitry Tursunov caused a whirlwind at the Estoril Open with his fantastic, fantastic blog on the ATP site. It is a total must see. Click here.
- Nicholas Kiefer's shirt made a statement in Hamburg!
- As did Marat Safin and Tommy Haas, who both dressed up in clothes that tennis players would have worn in the 19th Century (Paperboy hats and wooden racquets and white clothes!) and were driven in a vintage car.
